Product Description For the WMF Vitalis series, designer Peter ramminger drew his inspiration from oven racks. While this completed part of his task, namely to make roasters more functional, he was still left with the challenge of making them more innovative. Thankfully, TV chef johann lafer came up with the brilliant idea of incorporating a thermometer in the glass lid to enable the temperature to be controlled without lifting the lid. The Vitalis series includes a roasting pan as well as an aroma steamer in various designs. The stainless steel roasting pan with glass lid is ideal for browning and stewing on the hob or for casseroles in the oven. The aroma steamers made from easy-care cromargan are designed as little hob steamers. While the liquid boils below, the ingredients cook in the rising steam above.
