This is a vintage Easter tin basket produced in 1984 by Chein Enterprises (also known as Cheinco or J. Chein & Co.).
Design & Illustrations: The purple tin features lithograph graphics based on antique Easter postcards from circa 1900. It depicts anthropomorphic rabbits, chicks, and Easter eggs in a nostalgic "Happy Eastertide" theme. It is a rectangular metal storage container with a removable lid and double movable handles.
It is 6" long x 4.5" deep x 4.5" high (not including the handles).It was manufactured by Chein Enterprises in the USA under their Bristol Ware line. Originally designed as a seasonal candy or cookie container, these tins are now popular as:
