This apple cookie jar is from the 1940-50’s era. Because of its age it does have a lot of crazing which is very typical for this type of pottery. Back in the day these were used for cookies or old cooking grease! Now they are great for the rustic or mid-century decor. They still will hold cookies too. This one is in real good shape, one tiny paint chip on one of the leaves is all.
