BelOMO VILIA Вилия Soviet-era Camera
This is a compact camera manufactured by BelOMO of the former Soviet Union from 1973.
It's 【ultra-rare】 because it has the CCCP logo on the front, and you rarely see one in this condition with so few scratches or stains.
This camera is made of plastic and is very light, with a simple construction, but it's a fully manual camera with manual shutter and aperture control.
It doesn't have a light meter.
The lens is a simple triplet, but it focuses by moving the entire lens group, not just the front element.
However, it has the essential features for a 35mm film camera, such as self-cocking and multiple exposure prevention.
Except for the lack of a rangefinder, it's like a plastic version of the FED2 (or FED ZARYA).
What's amazing about this model is that the viewfinder is very clear for its time, with an Albada bright frame, and the view is quite good.
The images it produces are similar to those of Lomo or Smena 8M or Smena 35, and are said to be "emo" (evocative).
Specifications are as follows:
Lens: TRIPLET 69-3 40mm F4
Shutter: Unnamed lens shutter B, 1/30 sec - 1/250 sec
Winding: Lever type, single-stroke winding
Rewinding: Crank rewind

Focusing: Guessing distance

Film loading: Hinged back cover
