The VAS-V MAX Vision Replacement Shield is made to fit the Corsair-X, Signet-X, Quantum-X, DT-X, Defiant-X and Regent-X Helmets motorcycle helmets. This shield is Pin ready and will work with Antifog insert. Made from top quality shatter resistant, scratch resistant polycarbonate.
- Photochromic shields will turn dark in sunlight and become clear(or almost entirely clear) again when indoors. This is the result of chemical responses to the presence (and absence) of ultraviolet light.
- Photochromic performance is influenced by temperature, UV exposure and riding posture. PLEASE NOTE!
- Photochromic shields are known to darken more quickly than they lighten and the speed it takes is slightly temperature dependent too. If it’s a really bright and sunny day, they’ll typically reach max darkness in about 20s. Full activation will be in 2 minutes.
- Protects from 99% of the sun's damaging UVA and UVB rays.
