Heavy duty laminating carriers are made of folded, coated cardstock with stitching across the top or folded design. Simply lift the top fold (like a notepad or folder) to open and insert your laminating pouch prior to laminating. Carrier sheets protect laminating pouches from scratches during the lamination process and prevent any excess adhesive that may ooze from the edge of laminating pouch from sticking to the rollers (which leads to uneven and poor quality laminating). They also prevent pouches from wrapping around the rollers during lamination. These carriers are compatible with pouches sizes up to 9” x 14-1/2” and are ideal for Letter and Legal Size laminating pouches. Not all pouch laminators require the use of a carrier sheet. Please refer your owner's manual for your laminating machine for specific requirements. Note:If overall laminating thickness is an issue for your laminator, your manual may be of assistance in determining compatibility considering you are adding 20 mils (500 microns) to the thickness of your paper and pouch to be laminated.
