The V-hull cuts through the water cleanly and tracks with confidence, while softening toward the centre of the boat for a stable, comfortable ride that doesn't feel locked in. Moderate rocker lets the Virgo build speed efficiently on flat water and pivot readily on edge, and hard chines engage predictably when you carve into a turn. The moderately steep bow keeps a high proportion of the hull in the water for real hull speed, while flared bow edges shed chop and lift the boat over waves when paddling out from shore. Bow deck geometry is reinforced for deep water rescues, a detail that matters when you're far from help on a Canadian lake or coastline.

Outfitting is handled by P&H's Connect system, which is genuinely adjustable and comfortable for long days on the water. Split paddle recesses, a paddle park, a drop-forged anodised aluminium security point, and a full complement of deck lines and bungees round out a very complete package.
