This is a Marian Cross of the Teutonic Knights, also known as the Marianerkreuz, instituted in 1871 by the Deutscher Ritterorden.
It was awarded to Catholic nobility who served as orderlies or donated money to the Order.
The design is a white-enameled cross with black borders and a central blue medallion featuring a red cross (for the Order of St. George).
The design of the Teutonic Cross was the inspiration for the German Army's Iron Cross. Made in Germany.
