Grant was presented a 62-piece Lamson dinner set at the White House. Pieces of this extraordinary gift remain in the nation’s capital on display at the Smithsonian Institution. Today, our talented artisans still handcraft each piece in western Massachusetts—an extensive selection of elegantly functional products, including laser-cut and forged cutlery, kitchen tools and trade tools. Over the years we have survived major world events, difficult financial times, and even a natural disaster that forced us to relocate from our original factory. • Leather Sheath is crafted from 12oz Wickett and Craig English vegetable tanned bridle leather. Sturdy Brass Rivets and Snap keep the sheath firmly in place. As is the nature of handmade goods crafted from natural materials, you may experience minor variations in shape color and appearance. These normal variations add character and uniqueness to your handmade leather product.
• Made with Tempered 420HC Stainless Steel hardened to 57-58 HRC. Shaped Walnut handle with sturdy 3 Brass rivet construction
• Blade: Full-Tang Blade (blade runs the full length of the handle), Santoku shape, Tempered High-Carbon 420HC Stainless Steel hardened to 57-58 HRC, Flat Ground for precision and then hand-sharpened and finished for razor-sharp edge
• Walnut Kitchen Tools are not dishwasher safe. Rather rinse and wash in warm soapy water, dry off thoroughly with a soft cloth and then store. To keep your Walnut handles looking good, we recommend a light application of mineral oil every few months.
