Rated at 12 cal cm² it withstands thermal energy release during ASTM 2178-08. PPE CAT 2. Arc shield fits with Elvex visor brackets and slot adaptors that can be mounted on most slotted safety helmets. Certified and Tested by Kinetics High Current Laboratory. Note: NFPA 70E requires users to wear a safety cap, NFPA 70E rated balaclava, safety glasses and ear plugs with an Arc face shield.
