A designer from Belgium, after graduating from La Cambre, he gained experience at Dior Homme under Hedi Slimane and became the creative director of the brand in 2007. With sharp tailoring as a base, he matured menswear as a mode by subtly blending rock and street sensibilities. His eponymous brand, "KRIS VAN ASSCHE," was attractive for its experimental elements woven into structured and minimal designs, presenting an intellectual and urban male image. Later, he also served as the artistic director of Berluti, demonstrating his skill in connecting tradition and modernity.
