Stoody 110 is a modified chromium, high manganese steel used for rebuilding manganese steel parts under severe impact. It provides good toughness and wear resistance, often serving as the final hardfacing layer in extreme conditions. Deposits can't be flame cut but are machinable with carbide tools, non-magnetic, and not recommended for cast iron. It's suitable for carbon, low alloy, and manganese steels, and offers cavitation resistance in fluid components. Stoody 110-G, 110-O, and 110-MC are metal cored wires, producing a light slag covering that doesn't interfere with multi-layer welding.
